Marc Shiliro's Classic Cars
You're looking at another beautiful classic car listed by MS CLASSIC CARS!
1987 Porsche 911 Turbo Custom w/ 500+ HP - "Motor Werks Racing 930"
Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS.  You might recognize my name or my business name from the beautiful classic cars, trucks and motorcycles I’ve collected and sold nationally.  I’ve got over 25 years of classic vehicle experience and continue to learn more every day. I’ve learned a lot and I’m educated in many different makes and models ranging from the early 1900’s to current. I specialize in beautiful classic vehicles that are at a higher level of quality than most being advertised for sale. I only collect number one and number two condition vehicles that are already completed. We slightly redesign them, service them and detail them. I have also coordinated restorations from start to finish but don’t do this anymore. Over the years I’ve collected and sold over 600 classic vehicles which can be seen on the company website sold page. The vehicles are sold to previous customers, referrals and are sold from advertising on various websites, online auctions and live auctions. MS CLASSIC CARS has set over 50 world record prices on various makes and models that I’m very proud of.  We’ve featured many classic vehicles at different auctions across the United States. We’ve had many vehicles that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. Please note, I’m not bragging, I’m just confident. I consider myself to be an expert in the classic car business and would like to put my experience to work for you.

The MS CLASSIC CARS showroom is located in Seekonk, Massachusetts. This location was established in 2012. The MS CLASSIC CARS service department and multiple storage facilities are also located in Seekonk, Massachusetts.  The MS CLASSIC CARS operations are closed to the public.  A private viewing of a vehicle can be made scheduled by appointment Monday through Friday.  The MS CLASSIC CARS inventory consists of roughly 50 classic cars and trucks that we own, service and detail.  We’re the only dealership in the country that services every vehicle we sell and documents it with an invoice. I stand behind every vehicle we sell.  Each vehicle is presented with a detailed description, 150+ high quality photos and a video.  We don’t offer consignments.  When you call you deal directly with me. I know each vehicle well and will go over the vehicle of your interest in full detail.  I’ll also assist you with any other needs such as trades, financing, insurance or enclosed shipping.  I promise to make the process from start to finish easy and enjoyable.  I take a lot of pride in this business and our reputation reflects that.  I appreciate the opportunity to earn your business.  “MS CLASSIC CARS isn’t just another dealer.  MS CLASSIC CARS is a brand.”

Sincerely,
Marc Schiliro – The owner

I've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over 25 years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only on the internet and auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds its own. I've sold classic cars and trucks in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially classic cars.  These people aren’t just one age group but all different ages ranging from very young to very old.  It’s a very diverse market.  I've learned it's not just people in the United States but its people all over the world.

Over the years I've noticed that the higher quality classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Over the last 20 years the overall market has been very strong and I believe it will continue to grow.  Certain classic cars prices are on the rise and others are on the decline.  It’s all about supply and demand, not about a good or bad economy.  The classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people want but there aren’t many on the market for sale.  The classic cars that are on the decline are the cars that a lot of people don’t want anymore and there’s many on the market for sale. Of course, if the car is a rare model and spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. Desirable factory correct classic cars that are documented with matching numbers always make solid investments.  Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character and there worth what people are willing to pay.

Prior to this business I was just a blue collar guy who was working full time at Viti Mercedes Benz located in Tiverton, RI. They’re recognized for being one of the best Mercedes Benz dealerships in the country for customer service.  I was very passionate about classic cars and trucks so I decided to sell them part time.  Although I had my used car dealer’s license I didn’t have my own dealership.  Overall things were going just fine but my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership.  I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership.  I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen which required using my family’s savings and acquiring loans such as a home equity line of credit.  I also took on a lot of overhead that I didn’t have before.  The bottom line is I went all in.  Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong?  “I’m putting my money where my mouth is”. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Marc Schiliro – The Owner

This gorgeous 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo Custom w/ 500+HP is the ultimate street machine. This is an authentic 911 Turbo with 84,500 original miles. This car is a two owner vehicle with a clean Car Fax report included. It was professionally restored by Porsche experts Motor Werks Racing and completed in 2015.  It was customized by MS CLASSIC CARS and completed in 2021. Over $100,000 was invested which is documented with receipts. It has less than 500 miles on total restoration. It’s in show quality condition throughout.  The body was outfitted with a RSR Iroc front bumper, rear bumper and rear spoiler. It has all new gorgeous white paint with black accents. It also has all new tinted glass and Rennline LED headlights with black bezels. The car has a killer stance on new 17” Fuchs staggered wheels and Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires. The beautiful black interior has many custom upgrades such as the roll bar, Recaro Sportster CS seats, Schroth harness, aluminum trim, custom sound system and Halguard fire extinguisher. The engine compartment is highly detailed throughout. The car is powered by the original 3.3L flat six turbo engine with many custom upgrades such as with Elgin cams, 3.2 intake, Motec M84 fuel injection, BBK throttle body, Schwitzer Turbocharger and air to water intercooler. The engine breathes through a fully custom Cerakote coated exhaust system that sounds awesome. The engine is coupled to a G50 5-speed manual transmission.  The undercarriage is very detailed throughout. It’s equipped with a fully custom suspension including a rear 934 coilover conversion and braking system including Porsche Brembo Red calipers and 12” drilled rotors. This car is the perfect combination of looks and speed. It just screams sexy!

As the VIN number documents this car was built from the factory as a 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera 2-dr Coupe 4-speed Turbo. As the clean Car fax report documents this car was first titled by the original owner who lived in New Jersey on October 22, 1991. It was then sold to the second owner who lived in Florida on January 2, 2001 with 52,242 miles. The second owner moved to Georgia and a new title was issued on April 11, 2008. As receipts document the car was sent to Motor Werks Racing located in Georgia for a restoration in March of 2012. A few photos of the car prior to the restoration are included. The vision of the restoration was to improve the car cosmetically and mechanically with high performance modifications. The owner’s goal was to have car that could be driven on the street and race track. The restoration was completed in 2015. Unfortunately, the owner was injured and couldn’t use the car after it was completed. The car was maintained by the owner’s son and was only driven roughly 100 miles since it was completed.  In 2018, the car was sent back to Motor Werks Racing to prepare it for sale. A total of $77,858.25 was invested with Motor Werks Racing which is documented with receipts. MS CLASSIC CARS purchased the car in August of 2020. MS CLASSIC CARS decided to take the car to the next level and invested an additional $21,578.21. Between Motor Werks Racing and MS CLASSIC CARS a total of almost $100,000.00 was invested. Please note this doesn’t include the cost of the car which was an all original accident free 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo with 84,000 original miles. MS CLASSIC CARS has driven this car over 300 miles and she’d ready to rock and roll.

The exterior of this car is absolutely gorgeous to say the least. The car is extremely sexy with its great timeless design and color combination. During the restoration process the original white paint was stripped and the glass was removed. During this process a RSR “Iroc” composite front bumper, rear bumper and rear spoiler was added. The lighter weight front bumper and RSR grill allows improved air flow to the relocated front mounted air to water intercooler.  The rear spoiler was outfitted with a black vent that matches the factory black engine vent.  The car was finished in slightly different shade of white which is brighter. The inner section of sunroof track, door jam, lower rockers, engine compartment and front compartment paint was left original. MS CLASSIC CARS painted the lower rocker panels and engine compartment to match new paint. The paint gorgeous and was recently detailed to a brilliant shine by MS CLASSIC CARS. While the glass was out of the car it only made sense to replace it all with new glass that was professionally tinted.  All of the window seals were also replaced at this time. All of the exterior trim was restored or replaced and looks beautiful. MS CLASSIC CARS added new Rennline LED headlights with 2 LED projectors and black bezels. These headlights look and work excellent. The fog lights and license plate light were removed but it still has reverse lights. The car has a killer stance on new reproduction Fuchs aluminum staggered wheels that have a black center with Porsche logo and brushed lip. The front wheels are 17x7 and the rear wheels are 17x9. The wheels are held on with titanium lug nuts. MS CLASSIC CARS added new Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires that are 205-50-ZR17 on the front and 255-40-ZR17 on the rear. This car is a huge attention magnet!

The black interior of this car is in beautiful condition throughout. The cabin space is surprisingly spacious and comfortable. During the restoration some of the interior trim pieces were left original such as the headliner, sun visors, dash, VDO gauges, shifter and door panels. The original door panels were sanded down, dyed and polished. All the carpeting was replaced new. During the restoration many custom things were added such as a welded in black roll cage, VDO boost gauge with telltale needed and reset key, Recaro Sportster CS seats, Schroth four point harness, Halguard black fire extinguisher, Pioneer stereo, Kenwood front and rear speakers. MS CLASSIC CARS added aluminum Turbo door sills, door handles, pedals and emergency brake handle. The car is equipped with a factory power sunroof and power windows. During the restoration the heat and power mirror components were removed. Since the seats were replaced it no longer has heated seats. The rear seat pads were also removed so there is only carpeting. Everything in the interior works such as the power sunroof, interior light which is turned on manually, dash lights, gauges, horn, power windows, blower fan, wipers and sound system.  The front storage compartment is in very nice original condition and the VIN number stamp is very legible. MS CLASSIC CARS re-painted the black area. All of the carpets were replaced new. It’s equipped with a Bosch battery and a power cut off knob was added to the battery along with a tender charge cord. A Schumacher speed charge battery tender is included.

The engine compartment is highly detailed throughout with many custom parts. MS CLASSIC CARS removed the engine and re-painted the entire engine compartment. MS CLASSIC CARS did some engine upgrades, engine service work and repainted it. Photos of the engine out of the car at the MS CLASSIC CARS service facility are included. The car is powered by the original 3.3 Liter flat six turbo engine that runs excellent. During the restoration at Motor Werks Racing the engine was upgraded with Elgin camshafts and a 3.2 intake manifold paired with a BBK throttle body. It runs on a Motec M84 electronic fuel injection system with coil on plugs. The engine breathes through a custom-fabricated long tube header and into a Schwitzer (Borg Warner) Turbocharger before exiting at the rear of car through a 19” long straight pipe Cerakote exhaust. This exhaust system alone was almost $4,000 and sounds awesome! As quoted in S3 Magazine, “The air- to- air intercooler was replaced with a water-to-air design. Reason being: The air-to-air works great in track applications where the car is constantly moving and has constant airflow. But in the real world when you merrily round a corner and all the sudden hit gridlocked traffic, it will bake in its own heat located right above the engine. So Motor Works Racing relocated water fed heat exchanger to the nose of the car and stealthily ran lines where the original AC lines had been routed.” The engine starts runs and performs excellent. The engine is coupled to a G50 5-speed manual transmission that was sourced from a 1989 Porsche 911 Turbo by Motor Werks Racing. It’s equipped with a racing style clutch that operates very smoothly.

The undercarriage is nicely detailed throughout with many custom parts. MS CLASSIC CARS disassembled the suspension and braking parts so everything could be painted. MS CLASSIC CARS also painted the entire undercarriage. This all made sense at the time since the engine was removed. This undercarriage is nice enough to put mirrors underneath at a car show. The front braking system is from a 993 Turbo because they perform well and are easy to source. The rear brakes have been converted to a 964 Turbo system. It’s equipped with  Porsche red calipers and cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. As quoted from S3 magazine, “The 930 torsion suspension can end up “twisting” minimally under hard cornering plus throttle-load. But the result of that yaw can be a momentary change in alignment/toe. And that momentary toe-out can actually be the catalyst casing the back-end to snap around, which 930s have an infamous reputation for. That being said, Motor Werks Racing did a 934 coilover conversion from the race version of the 911 Turbo.” The car sports green Bilstein shocks on the front. This car handles the road very well and is a blast to drive.

Dare to compare the attention to detail in this engine compartment and undercarriage to all the other Porsche 911 models that have sold or that are currently listed for sale. You’ll clearly see the difference!

**PLEASE CALL MS CLASSIC CARS OWNER MARC SCHILIRO FOR A VERY ACCURATE VERBAL DESCRIPTION OF THIS VEHICLE**

***MS CLASSIC CARS only purchases number one and number two condition classic vehicles. We service and detail every vehicle unlike most classic vehicles that are currently being advertised for sale. MS CLASSIC CARS invested a total of $21,578.16 servicing and detailing this vehicle. This is documented with an invoice pictured below. We’re the only classic car dealership in the country that does this.  Please understand every vehicle needs something.  Some vehicles just need a lot more than others.  At MS CLASSIC CARS we eliminate the surprises.  We’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking. ***

911 Turbo Custom w/ 500+ HP - "Motor Werks Racing 930"Unfortunately most classic vehicles that are being advertised for sale by dealers, private parties and auctions aren't exactly what are being advertised for sale.  This is an industry with no real guidelines and everyone's opinion is completely different.  The average consumer doesn’t realize classic vehicles weren’t restored at the factory and are being restored by people in their garages.  Everyone’s level of restoration experience is different and it shows in the restoration.  An example would be a classic vehicle that's  being advertised as an original model with matching numbers could be a phony with a reproduction trim tag and re stamped numbers on the engine block, etc.  Another example would be a classic vehicle is being advertised as a full restoration when indeed only a few things have been restored.  There are many classic vehicles listed for sale that have cosmetic and mechanical issues with such items as the body, paint, glass, lights, body hinges, gauges, window components, steering components, upholstery, engine leaks and tuning, radiators, transmission, rear end, brake components and suspension components.  The consumers are spending thousands of dollars repairing the classic vehicles they've purchased after the sale.  A bad purchase could turn into the buyer’s worst nightmare and be extremely costly!

MS CLASSIC CARS specializes in beautiful classic cars and trucks that are at a higher level of quality than most being advertised for sale. I personally have selected these vehicles and take pride in what I represent.  I'm not a classic car dealer who is only looking to make a quick buck.  I’ve seen dealers and private parties purchase classic vehicles at auctions and online and immediately list them for sale.  Most of these vehicles aren’t being advertised correctly and haven’t been serviced or detailed.  This business is my career and my reputation which means everything to me.  I do the best of my ability to represent quality classic cars and advertise them honestly.  To be clear I’m not in the restoration business.  I represent classic vehicles that have already been restored that we’ve serviced and detailed.

This vehicle is owned by MS CLASSIC CARS and is located in Seekonk, MA.  I personally have seen, touched and driven this vehicle.  This vehicle has been through a service and detail process which is documented with an MS CLASSIC CARS invoice. I'll personally go over the entire vehicle and tell you everything I know about it.  I'll also give you my opinion if it’s truly the right vehicle for you. I’ll consider all trades and also offer financing if necessary.  Once you've committed to purchase a classic vehicle from MS CLASSIC CARS, I’ll make it a very easy process from start to finish.  Once the funds have cleared I'll immediately mail the paperwork USPS 2-day air with tracking number. I’ll also assist in shipping your vehicle to its new home with an enclosed carrier. Once the vehicle is loaded inside the enclosed trailer we’ll cover it with a new plastic cover and email you photos.

If you've read the introduction tab or visited my website you’ll probably agree I'm a bit of a perfectionist and represent very detailed classic vehicles. MS CLASSIC CARS has a great reputation and we continue to raise the bar in the classic car and truck world.  I sell our classic cars and trucks very quickly because consumers see the value.  I look forward to working with you.  Please read the company website testimonials and read our reviews online. Please also ask someone who knows about MS CLASSIC CARS.  Thank you for the opportunity!

Sincerely,
Marc Schiliro – the owner
