Marc Shiliro's Classic Cars
You're looking at another beautiful classic car listed by MS CLASSIC CARS!
1968 Ford Mustang Fastback "Bullitt" recreation
Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS.  You might recognize my name or my business name from the beautiful classic cars, trucks and motorcycles I’ve collected and sold nationally.  I’ve got over 25 years of classic vehicle experience and continue to learn more every day. I’ve learned a lot and I’m educated in many different makes and models ranging from the early 1900’s to current. I specialize in beautiful classic vehicles that are at a higher level of quality than most being advertised for sale. I only collect number one and number two condition vehicles that are already completed. We slightly redesign them, service them and detail them. I have also coordinated restorations from start to finish but don’t do this anymore. Over the years I’ve collected and sold over 600 classic vehicles which can be seen on the company website sold page. The vehicles are sold to previous customers, referrals and are sold from advertising on various websites, online auctions and live auctions. MS CLASSIC CARS has set over 50 world record prices on various makes and models that I’m very proud of.  We’ve featured many classic vehicles at different auctions across the United States. We’ve had many vehicles that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. Please note, I’m not bragging, I’m just confident. I consider myself to be an expert in the classic car business and would like to put my experience to work for you.

The MS CLASSIC CARS showroom is located in Seekonk, Massachusetts. This location was established in 2012. The MS CLASSIC CARS service department and multiple storage facilities are also located in Seekonk, Massachusetts.  The MS CLASSIC CARS operations are closed to the public.  A private viewing of a vehicle can be made scheduled by appointment Monday through Friday.  The MS CLASSIC CARS inventory consists of roughly 50 classic cars and trucks that we own, service and detail.  We’re the only dealership in the country that services every vehicle we sell and documents it with an invoice. I stand behind every vehicle we sell.  Each vehicle is presented with a detailed description, 150+ high quality photos and a video.  We don’t offer consignments.  When you call you deal directly with me. I know each vehicle well and will go over the vehicle of your interest in full detail.  I’ll also assist you with any other needs such as trades, financing, insurance or enclosed shipping.  I promise to make the process from start to finish easy and enjoyable.  I take a lot of pride in this business and our reputation reflects that.  I appreciate the opportunity to earn your business.  “MS CLASSIC CARS isn’t just another dealer.  MS CLASSIC CARS is a brand.”

Sincerely,
Marc Schiliro – The owner

I've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over 25 years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only on the internet and auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds its own. I've sold classic cars and trucks in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially classic cars.  These people aren’t just one age group but all different ages ranging from very young to very old.  It’s a very diverse market.  I've learned it's not just people in the United States but its people all over the world.

Over the years I've noticed that the higher quality classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Over the last 20 years the overall market has been very strong and I believe it will continue to grow.  Certain classic cars prices are on the rise and others are on the decline.  It’s all about supply and demand, not about a good or bad economy.  The classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people want but there aren’t many on the market for sale.  The classic cars that are on the decline are the cars that a lot of people don’t want anymore and there’s many on the market for sale. Of course, if the car is a rare model and spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. Desirable factory correct classic cars that are documented with matching numbers always make solid investments.  Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character and there worth what people are willing to pay.

Prior to this business I was just a blue collar guy who was working full time at Viti Mercedes Benz located in Tiverton, RI. They’re recognized for being one of the best Mercedes Benz dealerships in the country for customer service.  I was very passionate about classic cars and trucks so I decided to sell them part time.  Although I had my used car dealer’s license I didn’t have my own dealership.  Overall things were going just fine but my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership.  I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership.  I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen which required using my family’s savings and acquiring loans such as a home equity line of credit.  I also took on a lot of overhead that I didn’t have before.  The bottom line is I went all in.  Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong?  “I’m putting my money where my mouth is”. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Marc Schiliro – The Owner

1968 Ford Mustang Fastback “Bullitt” Recreation

RESTORED VERY SIMILAR TO THE ORIGINAL FAMOUS 1968 FORD MUSTANG FASTBACK GT “BULLITT” THAT SOLD AT THE MECUM AUCTION IN JANUARY 2020 FOR 3.4 MILLION DOLLARS!!!!

**PLEASE NOTE IN THE MOVIE THEY HAD MULTIPLE VERSIONS OF THE “BULLITT” WHICH ALL WERE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT. ONE HAD NO MIRROR, ONE HAD A ROUND MIRROR, SOME HAD PAINTED ROCKERS, ETC. ONCE AGAIN THIS CAR WAS RESTORED LIKE THE ORIGINAL 1968 FORD MUSTANG FASTBACK GT “BULLITT” THAT SOLD AT THE MECUM AUCTION IN JANUARY 2020 FOR 3.4 MILLION DOLLARS.**

Here’s a chance to own your very own “Bullitt” Mustang that you can drive just the actor Steve McQueen did in the movie “Bullitt”.

Rotisserie restoration completed in December of 2020 with only 28 test miles.

Show quality condition throughout.

Mostly new sheet metal that is very straight with excellent fitment.

Beautiful Highland Green paint which is the correct color for the “Bullitt”.

Beautiful black interior which is the correct color for the “Bullitt”.

Detailed engine compartment and undercarriage.

Rebuilt 390 big block V8 engine which is correct for the “Bullitt”.

Rebuilt 4-speed top loader manual transmission which is correct for the “Bullitt”.

Rebuilt Ford 9” POSI rear end which is correct for the “Bullitt”.

Power steering and power brakes.

The list goes on and on.

This is one of the best “Bullitt” Recreations out there.

 Dare to compare!

This spectacular 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback “Bullitt” Recreation was restored very similar to the original famous “Bullitt” movie car driven by Steve McQueen. This car was the product of a rotisserie restoration that was completed in December of 2020 with only 28 test miles. This car is in show quality condition throughout. It was born a fastback with a V8 engine and 4-speed manual transmission. During the restoration most of the sheet metal was replaced new. The body is very straight with excellent fitment throughout. The car sports beautiful Highland Green paint which is the correct color for the “Bullitt”. The car also sports a beautiful black interior which is correct for the “Bullitt”. The engine compartment and undercarriage is very detailed. The car is powered by a rebuilt 390 big block V8 engine, 4-speed top loader manual transmission and Ford 9” POSI rear end which are all correct for the “Bullitt”. This car is equipped with power steering and power brakes. This is one of the best “Bullitt” recreations out there. Dare to compare!

This car still retains its original VIN tag mounted on the passenger side dash under the windshield, original VIN/data plate tag on the driver’s door and VIN stamp on the driver’s side inner fender. As the VIN number indicates this car was built in Metuchen, NJ as a 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback with a 302 CID 4V V8. As the data plate information indicates this car was built on November 25th, 1967 for the Buffalo, NY- DSO. It had a Gulfstream Aqua exterior and Aqua vinyl interior. It was equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission and 3.00:1 rear axle code. From the information gathered this car was originally purchased by a gentleman who lived in New York. This lines up with the Buffalo, New York DSO. This gentleman passed and his wife took ownership of the car. The New York inspection found on the car indicates the car was last inspected in 1978. During the years the car was parked in a barn with dirt floors. During the next 30+ years the original owner’s wife was remarried and multiple attempts were made to restore the car but it never got very far. In 2016, the car was sold to a gentleman named Joe Bush in Baldwinsville, NY. Joe owned a body shop for many years and has experience with classic car restorations. He purchased this car to restore it and finally started the restoration at the beginning of 2020. Joe decided to restore the car as a “Bullitt” recreation rather than what the car was originally born as. He studied the original 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback GT “Bullitt” that was sold at the Mecum Auction in January 2020 for 3.4 million dollars and restored this car as close as possible to that car. During the restoration process he consulted with MS CLASSIC CARS for their opinion. Joe and MS CLASSIC CARS were friendly from past dealings. Joe gave MS CLASSIC CARS first right of refusal on the car when the car was completed.  MS CLASSIC CARS purchased the car in December of 2020. Please note there is no documentation to support the ownership history except photos of the inspection sticker on the car when Joe purchased it.

The exterior of this car is in absolutely beautiful condition throughout. This car was restored as similar to the original “Bullitt” as possible. Some of the exterior similarities to the original “Bullitt” include the exterior color, front fender antenna, black grill, rectangular drivers side mirror, chrome rocker panel moldings, bumper guards, black gas cap and deleted reverse lights. Even the wheels are somewhat similar. Most of the sheet metal was replaced such as the hood, doors, quarters, trunk lid and one piece floor. The roof and front fenders are original. The body is very straight with very good gap lines throughout. The car was finished in the correct “Bullitt” color of Highland Green. The paint job is show quality and has been detailed to a brilliant shine. Since the car was just finished in December of 2020 with only 28 test miles the paint is virtually flawless. All of the glass was replaced new which looks amazing. Most second generation Mustangs that are restored don’t have new glass. Everything on this exterior has been replaced new such as the window trim, wipers, antenna, hood turn signals, hood trim, grill, halogen headlights, front bumper, bumper guards, driver’s side mirror, door handles, door locks, light lenses, lower rocker molding, trunk lid trim, taillight bezels, rear bumper and gas cap. The sits on new American Racing Torque Thrust 5 spoke 15” wheels that have polished lip with a gray center section. The wheels are wrapped with new BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires that are 225-70-15 all the way around. This car is an icon and a serious attention magnet.

The interior of this car is also in absolutely beautiful condition throughout. This car was restored as similar to the original “Bullitt” as possible. Some of the interior similarities to the original “Bullitt” include the interior color, Grant GT500 steering wheel, running horse emblem on dash, AM radio and Hurst shifter. Everything was replaced new including such items as the headliner, sun visors, rear view mirror, dash pad, dash, dash hardware, simulated wood trim, AM radio, glove box, steering wheel, door panels, door hardware, bucket seats, folding rear seats, front seat belts, rear seat belts, pedals, shifter and carpeting. Everything in the interior is in working order such as the interior lights, turn signals, lights, horn, gauges, heating system and AM radio. The trunk compartment was nicely restored including a factory correct style trunk mat.

The engine compartment is highly detailed with many factory correct style parts throughout. This car was restored similar to the original “Bullitt” as possible. Some of the engine compartment similarities to the original “Bullitt” include the engine compartment color, 390 V8 engine, chrome “Powered by Ford” valve covers and chrome air cleaner with 390 decal. The backside of the hood was painted Highland Green. The firewall, inner fenders and radiator support were painted high gloss black. Everything in the engine compartment was replaced such as the hood hinges, power brake booster, brake master cylinder, ignition system, wires, alternator, washer bottle, belts, pulleys, hoses, clamps, radiator, fan and battery with Autolite battery topper. The car is powered by a freshly rebuilt 390 V8 engine with S-code cam, 1968 GT heads and Holley carburetor. The engine runs and sounds excellent out the factory manifolds and dual exhaust system with chrome tips. The engine is coupled to a freshly rebuilt 4-speed top loader close ratio manual transmission. The power is transferred to the freshly rebuilt Ford 9” POSI rear end with 3.50 gears. The housing, axles and bearings are all new. The car is equipped with power steering which makes turning much easier especially with the larger tires.

The undercarriage is highly detailed with many factory correct style parts throughout. The floors were replaced with a one-piece floor. The undercarriage was painted high gloss black and is stunning to say the least. The undercarriage is detailed enough to display at car shows with mirrors. Everything has been replaced such as the polished fuel tank, fuel lines, power steering system, suspension system with white KYB Gas-A-Just shocks and braking system with Wilwood front brakes.
Dare to compare this 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback “Bullitt” Recreation to what has sold or is currently being offered for sale.

**SOME RESTORATION PHOTOS ARE LISTED IN THE PHOTO GALLERY AT THE END**

**PLEASE CALL MS CLASSIC CARS OWNER MARC SCHILIRO FOR A VERY ACCURATE VERBAL DESCRIPTION OF THIS VEHICLE**

***MS CLASSIC CARS only purchases number one and number two condition classic vehicles. We service and detail every vehicle unlike most classic vehicles that are currently being advertised for sale. This restoration was just completed in December of 2020 so we didn’t service the car. However, we will service the car for the new owner before it leaves and document the work with an invoice. We’re the only classic car dealership in the country that does this.  Please understand every vehicle needs something.  Some vehicles just need a lot more than others.  At MS CLASSIC CARS we eliminate the surprises.  We’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking. ***

Your challenge
I have over 25 years of experience and follow the classic vehicle market on a daily basis.  I’m experienced with most years, makes and models.  Obviously I’m more experienced with certain vehicles but follow them all.  I price my classic vehicles competitive based on the current market values.  I would challenge anyone to find a comparable vehicle for less.  Please make sure your comparing the vehicles history, recent documented service work, all options and the entire vehicles overall condition from top to bottom.  If you’re truly interested in purchasing this vehicle and you have a comparable vehicle that’s priced less please call me to discuss further.  I’m confident that my vehicle will be the better choice.  If I’m wrong I’ll tell you the other vehicle is a better choice and point you in that direction.

“As my website indicates I’ve collected and sold hundreds of beautiful classic vehicles over the years.  I’m proud to say MS CLASSIC CARS holds over 50 world record sale prices.  We’ve also sold many classic vehicles in the six figure plus price range.  The point being is that I’m a good judge of character when it comes time to describe a classic vehicle.  MS CLASSIC CARS collect beautiful classic vehicles that we service and detail.  We document this work with an invoice that is pictured in the photos.  The vehicle you’re about to witness is something I’m proud of.  If you’ve been searching for something like this vehicle I would suggest moving forward with investigating it further.  Please give me a phone call and I’ll go over the entire vehicle with you over the phone.  I will tell you everything I know about it.  I’m the owner and can make all the decisions regarding the price, etc.  There will be no pressure.   My goal is to make sure the vehicle is the right fit for you.  If you decide to purchase it I’ll make the transaction transparent and simple.  I’ll assist you in the financing if necessary.  I’ll also assist you with the shipping.  It’s that easy.  MS CLASSIC CARS isn’t just another dealer.  MS CLASSIC CARS is a brand.”

Marc Schiliro – The Owner.

Unfortunately most classic vehicles that are being advertised for sale by dealers, private parties and auctions aren't exactly what are being advertised for sale.  This is an industry with no real guidelines and everyone's opinion is completely different.  The average consumer doesn’t realize classic vehicles weren’t restored at the factory and are being restored by people in their garages.  Everyone’s level of restoration experience is different and it shows in the restoration.  An example would be a classic vehicle that's  being advertised as an original model with matching numbers could be a phony with a reproduction trim tag and re stamped numbers on the engine block, etc.  Another example would be a classic vehicle is being advertised as a full restoration when indeed only a few things have been restored.  There are many classic vehicles listed for sale that have cosmetic and mechanical issues with such items as the body, paint, glass, lights, body hinges, gauges, window components, steering components, upholstery, engine leaks and tuning, radiators, transmission, rear end, brake components and suspension components.  The consumers are spending thousands of dollars repairing the classic vehicles they've purchased after the sale.  A bad purchase could turn into the buyer’s worst nightmare and be extremely costly!

MS CLASSIC CARS specializes in beautiful classic cars and trucks that are at a higher level of quality than most being advertised for sale. I personally have selected these vehicles and take pride in what I represent.  I'm not a classic car dealer who is only looking to make a quick buck.  I’ve seen dealers and private parties purchase classic vehicles at auctions and online and immediately list them for sale.  Most of these vehicles aren’t being advertised correctly and haven’t been serviced or detailed.  This business is my career and my reputation which means everything to me.  I do the best of my ability to represent quality classic cars and advertise them honestly.  To be clear I’m not in the restoration business.  I represent classic vehicles that have already been restored that we’ve serviced and detailed.

This vehicle is owned by MS CLASSIC CARS and is located in Seekonk, MA.  I personally have seen, touched and driven this vehicle.  This vehicle has been through a service and detail process which is documented with an MS CLASSIC CARS invoice. I'll personally go over the entire vehicle and tell you everything I know about it.  I'll also give you my opinion if it’s truly the right vehicle for you. I’ll consider all trades and also offer financing if necessary.  Once you've committed to purchase a classic vehicle from MS CLASSIC CARS, I’ll make it a very easy process from start to finish.  Once the funds have cleared I'll immediately mail the paperwork USPS 2-day air with tracking number. I’ll also assist in shipping your vehicle to its new home with an enclosed carrier. Once the vehicle is loaded inside the enclosed trailer we’ll cover it with a new plastic cover and email you photos.

If you've read the introduction tab or visited my website you’ll probably agree I'm a bit of a perfectionist and represent very detailed classic vehicles. MS CLASSIC CARS has a great reputation and we continue to raise the bar in the classic car and truck world.  I sell our classic cars and trucks very quickly because consumers see the value.  I look forward to working with you.  Please read the company website testimonials and read our reviews online. Please also ask someone who knows about MS CLASSIC CARS.  Thank you for the opportunity!

Sincerely,
Marc Schiliro – the owner

Classic cars and trucks make great investments and are extremely fun to own.  It’s so exciting to search for a classic, purchase one and watch it come off the trailer, add your own touches, take it for a ride or just look at it sitting in the garage after a hard day at work.  Classic car and truck collectors aren’t just in the United States but worldwide.  The classic car and truck market is growing every day.  It’s seen at car shows and auctions, in magazines and on TV shows.  Get your new classic car or truck today.  You only live once, if you can afford it, do it!

I do the best I can to represent my classic cars and trucks.  My results, feedback and reputation speak for themselves. Everyone’s opinion of a classic car and truck is different and I encourage questions prior to a purchase. I have a beautiful showroom with excellent lighting and a lift for a complete inspection if requested. Inspections will be scheduled by appointment only.  The closest airport is Providence, RI.  It’s only a 25 minute ride from the dealership.  I can arrange to pick up at the airport.  I also have a dealer plate that would allow for a test drive with a valid driver’s license for a serious buyer.  Please call 508-557-0152 or email for any questions.  Thank you.
