The most desirable year of the second-generation is the 1970 which is the first year it was introduced. The RS or Z28 model with the front split bumper is the most desirable among enthusiasts and collectors. As the original build sheet indicates this example was born a 1970 Camaro Rally Sport with 350 V8 engine and 4-speed transmission. It was professionally restored with no expense spared. Known as the “Silver Star” – this gorgeous 1970 Chevrolet Camaro RS LS3 Custom checks all the boxes. This is one of the cleanest and most user-friendly custom builds ever offered from the MS CLASSIC CARS Collection. The second-generation Chevrolet Camaro is an American pony car produced from 1970 through the 1981 model years. It was longer, lower and wider than the first generation Camaro. A convertible was no longer available. GM engineers have said the second generation is much more of “a driver's car” than its predecessor. As the original VIN number and build sheet indicates this example was built at the Van Nuys plant in California. It had a Green Mist Metallic exterior, black interior, 350 V8 engine, 4-speed manual transmission and many other factory options including air conditioning. It was shipped to Parkwood Chevrolet located in Lakewood, California. The original build sheet and Chevrolet dealership pre-delivery service sheet are included. From the information gathered this vehicle spent its life in California. It found its way to Steve Rogalsky of Steve's Hot Rods and Customs located in Fresno, California. The vision of this build was to create a super clean Restomod that could be enjoyed. The no expense spared professional restoration was completed in 2020. Miscellaneous receipts and photos of the restoration process are included. The owner enjoyed the car over the next five years and put 2,350 miles on the odometer. He decided to sell the car and it was purchased by MS CLASSIC CARS in November of 2025. MS CLASSIC CARS added their touch and invested $10,072.20 in service which is documented with an invoice. January of 2026 is the first time MS CLASSIC CARS has listed it for sale.

The exterior of this '70 Camaro is very easy on the eyes with its iconic factory design and super clean appearance. From the information gathered this car retains all of its original sheet metal. During the restoration process the body was media blasted to bare metal by Custom Concepts. The side marker lights were removed and shaved for a smooth appearance. Mini tubs were installed in the rear to accommodate the larger wheels and tires. The body was worked to be laser straight with excellent panel fitment. It has excellent gap lines and the doors close nicely. The body was refinished in Platinum Silver custom paint by Jose Gomez of Straight Kustom Image located in Fresno, California. As the invoice documents the paint work alone was $29,673.61. The high show quality paint was recently detailed to a brilliant shine by the team at MS CLASSIC CARS. The body is dressed with painted bullet mirrors, hood vents, front and rear spoiler. It was outfitted with all new tinted glass throughout which includes the front windshield, door glass and rear windshield. Everything on the exterior was replaced new such as the glass stainless stim, black front grill, chrome split bumpers, LED headlights, parking lights, LED tail lights and rear chrome bumper. The car has a killer stance on the Budnik G-Series V2 18” and 19” brushed wheels. The wheels are mounted to new Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires that are 265-35-18 on the front and 325-30-19 on the rear. The tires were added by the team at MS CLASSIC CARS.

The interior of this '70 Camaro is very tasteful and well executed. It was professionally designed and upholstered in two-tone gray soft genuine leather. The upholstery work includes the headliner, sun visors, dash, kicker panels, door panels, console, seating surfaces and rear package shelve. The top of dash was painted silver and wrapped with leather including the lower section. The dash was treated with a carbon fiber instrument bezel, Autometer Pro-Comp Ultra-Light silver gauges, billet knobs, Vintage Air Conditioning panel, custom vents, Sony stereo with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, Helix amplifier, front and rear speakers. The dash and one off waterfall console was decorated with black accent pieces. Some of the interior features include an operational dome light, rear view mirror, Ring Brothers billet door strikers, Flaming River brushed tilt column with billet levers, Budnik GTV brushed 13.75” brushed steering wheel with leather wrap, power windows, cup holders, storage compartment, arm rests, billet shifter with Chevrolet Performance black knob, billet pedals and plush carpeting with molded floor mats. The extremely comfortable bucket seats and rear seats have modern seat belts. The seating surfaces were also decorated with black accent pieces. The trunk compartment was boxed and upholstered in leather which also includes the backside of the deck lid. The battery was relocated to the trunk and is equipped with NOCO charger for storage.

The engine compartment of this '70 Camaro is highly detailed throughout with all new parts. The backside of the hood was painted silver and pivots on Ring Brothers aluminum hinges. The cowl was painted silver and new black grill covers were installed. The smoothed firewall was custom made and also painted silver. It was outfitted with Anvil carbon fiber inner fenders, braces and radiator support panel. The car is powered by a new GM Performance LS3 376ci engine rated with 430HP. It's also equipped with a new GM complete computer system and controller for easy compatibility. The engine was dressed with a carbon fiber intake cover, custom polished air intake with K&N filter, Wegner Automotive Chevrolet LS3 inscribed black aluminum valve covers, Vintage Air front runner pulley system and LS muscle car oil pan. The engine is cooled by a Ron Davis aluminum radiator with aluminum top cover, polished hose and dual SPAL electric fans. The engine breathes through custom stainless headers and 3” polished dual exhaust system which discreetly exits the rear. The engine is coupled to a new Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed that shifts precisely through the gears. The power is transferred to a Ford 9” POSI rear end with 3.70 gears. The entire rear end housing was painted gloss black. This car was dyno tested on a Mustang Dynamometer by Caliber Customs in Medera, California on July 22, 2021. It registered with 404 rear wheel horse power with 386 ft-lbs of torque. Those numbers indicate roughly 500 horsepower at the flywheel.

The undercarriage of this '70 Camaro is also highly detailed throughout with all new parts. The floors were refinished in a textured silver paint for durability. The sub frame was refinished in gloss black. It's equipped with a power rack and pinion steering system. The front suspension consists of a Speed Tech Performance Road Assault system including tubular upper and lower control arms along with Viking coil over shocks. The rear suspension consists of a Speed Tech Performance Torque Arm System along with Viking coil over shocks. The braking system consists of a 8” power booster, Wilwood master cylinder, Wilwood 12.88 front drilled rotors, Wilwood 13” rear drilled rotors and yellow calipers with Chevrolet decals. It was outfitted with a new Aeromotive 340 Stealth fuel tank with built in fuel pump.
