This beautiful 2001 BMW 740i Sport is a documented two owner vehicle with only 70,141 original miles. The BMW E38 generation of the 7 Series was produced from 1994 to 2001. Production of this generation served as the third generation of BMW's flagship luxury sedan. Production officially began in 1994, with the final models rolling off the production line in 2001. The 740 is a full-size luxury sedan featuring a 4.4 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine that generates 282 horsepower and 324 lb-ft of torque. It came in standard (740i) and long-wheelbase (740iL) configurations, boasting a 5-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. The 740i Sport models have become highly sought after by enthusiast and collectors in the recent years. As the original Manufactures Tag indicates this example was built in November of 2000. As the BMW Vehicle History Report indicates it was ordered with an Alpine White exterior and Sand Leather interior. The car was sold to Emanuel Carreiro on April 26th, 2007 with 67,000 original miles. Emanuel also lived in Fall River, MA and needed a place to store the car since this wasn't his daily driver. It was more of a prized possession. Coincidentally Carl also owns a storage facility in Fall River, MA and he rented inside space to Emanuel where the car would stay for the next 18 years. Emanuel would get great pleasure of starting the car and backing it out of his garage only to stare at it in a chair. As the clean Car Fax Report documents he would have the car routinely serviced at BMW of Newport located in Middletown, RI. In October of 2025, Emanuel decided to sell the car and Carl jumped on the opportunity to purchase it back. Once again it was purchased through Carl's company Euro Auto, INC. It was purchased with 69,581 original miles and Carl enjoyed it for a little while before selling it to Marc Schiliro c/o MS CLASSIC CARS in August of 2026. Carl invested a total of $4,929.09 in service work preparing it for sale which is documented with an invoice. The exterior of this 740i Sport presents very nice for a 25 year old vehicle with 70,141 original miles. From the information gathered this car has always been garaged its entire life which is reflective in it's over exterior condition. The stylish factory designed body is timeless especially when it's finished in Alpine White. It features body-colored side skirts and bumper fascia's, Xenon high-intensity discharge headlamps with high-pressure washers and front fog lights. The accident-free body has had a few paint blends over the years from some scrapes and scratches. It currently has some chips and some scrapes on the lower passenger rocker panel. The paint was recently detailed to a brilliant shine by the team at MS CLASSIC CARS. A walk-around video with LED flashlight is provided in the gallery. The glass was professionally tinted and a rear deck spoiler was added which improves the overall appearance. It was also outfitted with OEM (2002-2005) BMW 745 19” aluminum alloy 10-spoke silver wheels. The wheels are mounted to new Sumitomo tires that are 245/45/R19 on the front and 275/40/R19 on the rear.

The interior of this 740i Sport is excellent condition throughout and it's hard to believe its 25 years old. The interior is spacious, sporty and luxurious all wrapped in one. The Sand leather upholstery complements the exterior Alpine White very nicely. The cabin features Vavona Redwood trim, 3-spoke M-sport steering wheel, 18-way contour sport seats with adjustable thigh support and deeper side bolsters and a Steptronic automatic shifter with a sports-trimmed knob. It's equipped with a 3-position memory setting for the driver's seat, steering wheel column tilt/telescope and exterior mirrors. Some other features include an integrated 4:3 display screen in the center dash controlling GPS navigation and audio settings, 14-speaker digital sound system paired with a trunk-mounted 6-disc CD changer. This interior is free of any odors and everything is in working order including the ice cold air conditioning. It features a four-wheel independent suspension with coil springs, paired with 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes (ventilated front and solid rear) measuring 12.76 inches in diameter upfront and 12.75 inches in the rear.
