Introduction:Extremelyrare right-hand drive. This car was from England and imported to the U.S. onNovember 12, 1975. It's been completely restored to show-quality condition.Inline 6-cylinder engine with a 3-speed manual transmission.

Description: This is an extremely rare right-hand-drive Essex Super SixSedan. This car has a lot of original documentation, such as the instructionmanuals, letters from previous owners and race program with the car in it. Theprevious owners nicknamed the car "Ruby." This car was purchased newby an Army colonel in England, and was later purchased by a gentleman namedAnthony Garrihy, who drove it in a road race in Ireland in July 1966. All ofthe proceeds from the road race went to benefit the blind. The car was importedto the U.S. by the port of Mississippi on November 12, 1975. In 1996 the carunderwent an extensive body-off restoration, which is fully documented withmany photos of the entire restoration process. Every nut and bolt was restoredor replaced. Since completion in 1997, it has strictly been used as aconversation piece and show car. It was trailered to many events and verylittle miles have been accumulated. The exterior body lines are remarkable andthe suicide doors make a grand interior entrance. The color is beautiful andthe paint is ocean deep. The rear trunk box adds not only storage butcharacter. The car sits on whitewall tires and has two matching spares on eachside of the front fenders. The interior is very tasteful and simple. Theright-hand drive is a very rare find. The engine compartment is very detailedand home to the inline 6-cylinder engine, which starts and runs beautifully. Itis coupled to a 3-speed manual shift transmission that is a pleasure to use.The electrical was converted to a 12-volt system. The undercarriage is alsovery detailed. This car drives great. Ruby is ready to be shown and enjoyed.
