MS CLASSIC CARS is proud to present a beautiful 1937 Buick Special 8 slant back series 40. Back in 1937 if you were cruising around in a 1937 Buick life was good.  These cars had great styling and provided an excellent ride.  There an important piece of American automotive history.  I sold a 1937 Buick Special 8 slant back at Barrett Jackson in Palm Beach 2010 for over $50,000.  It was the only 1937 Buick Special 8 slant back they had ever had at one of their auctions.  Ive been looking for another ever since.   A few years later and I found the one that youre about to witness.  In my opinion this 1937 Buick is even more detailed than the one I sold at Barrett Jackson.

From what Ive gathered this car was restored by a gentleman in Canada with no expense spared.  It was eventually sold to a gentleman who lived in Russell, PA.  Over the years the car exchanged a few hands and ended up in my collection.  The body on the car is very straight and the gaps are excellent considering the car is 76 years old!   The hood, doors and trunk lid open and close very easily. The paint is in great condition and was buffed to a show quality shine.  Keep in mind this vehicle was used mostly for car shows and parades since it was restored.  Everything on the exterior is in great condition such as the bumpers, mirrors, wind shield wipers and all the glass.  It sits on era correct white wall tires that give it the ultimate look.  This Buick attracts all types of people from all different age brackets because of its beautiful sweeping body lines and amazing style.

The exterior is complimented with a beautiful interior that has been restored like when it was new.  Opening up the suicide doors lead into literally a living room.    The brownish marble looking dash and door trim is simply stunning.  All of the gauges and the clock work great.  All of the interior hardware is also in great condition.  The windows roll up as smooth as butter and are very air tight when driving.  The trunk compartment is also in beautiful condition and house the spare tire.

The engine compartment is nicely detailed and home to the Buick 248 valve in-head eight silent oil cushioned engine.  The engine has 100HP and moves out on the road.  There are a lot of correct items in the engine compartment.  The car is started by pulling the choke, turning on ignition and pushing on the gas pedal.  When its cold it only takes about 5 seconds to start and once it warms up within a minute or so its ready to drive away.  This is one of the best running cars Ive ever owned.  Thats saying a lot considering how many cars Ive collected and sold.  The three speed transmission shifts effortlessly and the clutch is very easy to use.  This car has an overdrive setup for highway driving that operates by pulling the knob on the dash.

The undercarriage is also nicely detailed and everything has been restored or replaced.
Most classic cars and trucks from the 30s engine compartments and undercarriages arent detailed.  This Buick is a very rare slant back model and has been completely restored.  Its a beautiful color combination and runs and drives excellent.  This car makes a great investment and will always be something very special that will draw crowds!  Get it before some else does!

*** Inspection Report***
If you read my introduction tab or visited my website youll probably agree that Im a perfectionist and represent very detailed classic cars and trucks.  My reputation and feedback speaks for itself.  No vehicle is perfect and I want to be 100% upfront about each vehicle.  This truck is 76 years old and isnt perfect.  Please call me at #508-557-0152 or email me with any questions.  Ill tell you everything I know about the truck and go over the entire exterior panel by panel if need be.

Thank you.  Marc Schiliro The Owner.
