Presenting Copperhead. This street friendly 1941 Willys gasser is a modern build that displays racing nostalgia. Its show quality with great looks and the power to back it up. This Willys was a complete restoration with only test miles.
The Atlanta Rods body has been smoothed and fitted with great body lines. It was painted by Bent Metal Customs in Georgia. The exterior color is called Copperhead which was featured on the TV show GEARS'. This color is amazing and is complemented with a custom interior. The dash and tops of the door panels are painted in the Copperhead color. The seats, door panels and headliner is a beautiful cream color with a light brown carpet. Some interior features include a Dolphin gauges, RPM mounted dash gauge, custom steering column and Billet Specialties steering wheel, custom Kilduff floor shifter, power door release buttons and power windows.
The painted engine compartment is very detailed and houses a built 427 big block. The engine was bored .60 over with 9.8 to 1 compression making it pump gas friendly. Some engine upgrades include Keith Black pistons, Lunati cam and Wieland tunnel ram with two Edelbrock carburetors. The engine is dressed with tons of chrome and billet accessories. Its cooled with an aluminum radiator. It breathes through fender well headers and custom exhaust system that sounds mean. The engine is coupled with a TH350 transmission with 3200 stall converter and Ford 9 rear end with 3:50 gears with trac lock.
The trunk compartment is upholstered with matching carpet and stores the stainless fuel cell on the top shelf. The body sits on a custom chassis built by Supreme Hotrods. Some features include a Speedway straight axle, full length ladder bars, coil overs and four wheel disc brakes. It has era correct 15 Rocket Gasser 10 spoke front wheels and 15 Pulsar Gasser rear wheels with 29x13.5 5x15 Hoosier monster tires.
