MS CLASSIC CARS is proud to present a beautiful 1930 Chevrolet 1 ½ Ton Pickup.  This truck has gone through a very extensive restoration with no expense spared.  The story of how I acquired this truck is interesting.  I purchased a classic car from a gentleman in New York and decided to go pick up the car with a good friend of mine with my enclosed trailer.  When I walked into his building it was filled with some really interesting and beautiful classic cars and trucks.

Standing tall in the crowd of vehicles was this 1930 Chevrolet Pickup.  It immediately commanded my attention so I asked to hear it run.  I got behind the wheel and being a 1930 I thought it would be hard to start.  I turned the key and within seconds it was purring like a kitten.  I looked over at the owner and made an offer.

As my website indicates Ive been seen thousands of classic cars and trucks and owned hundreds.  In all of my years I havent seen a Chevy truck like this one.  It screams the 1930s!  I love the blue cab with matching wheels with black fenders.  The interior is also really cool with the wood ceiling, etc.  Think about how popular the Chevy truck has become and how cool is it that this is where it basically begun.

In 1998 Mike Happenstein hooked up with Reinsholds Restorations in Reinholds, PA to completely restore his 1930 Chevrolet truck.  It took two years to complete this very extensive restoration.  Most of the receipts for all the work he had done is included and pictured below.  They started from the frame and worked all the way up.  Everything on the truck has been restored or replaced.  When the truck was finished in 2000 he had an appraisal done.  It was appraised for $30,000 twelve years ago.  This appraisal was done prior to me spending thousands of dollars on the bed!  The appraisal read:
Mr. Happenstein has spent way over $30,000 for the cost of restoration work with Reinhold Restorations.  This was a complete ground up restoration , new wood in cab, rebuilt engine and drive train as well as all metal was sand blasted primed and repainted and then reassembled to show #1 quality work.  Also keep in mind he has the original purchase price which is not included in the restoration cost of $30,000.

This truck is 83 years old and where it all began for Americas Iconic Chevrolet truck.  It is a very special piece of American history that will be a magnet where ever it is.  The exterior body has the correct texture in the sheet metal as it did in the 1930s.  The doors open and close nice and tight. It was painted a beautiful blue with black fenders.  The rims were painted to match and look stunning.  The Denman tires are 6.50 X 20.  Everything on the exterior such as the bumpers, lights, glass, etc has been restored or replaced.  When I purchased the truck it had a flatbed that was done when the truck was restored.  Over the years the wood started to buckle so I had my shop pull it all off and build a custom bed that looks simply stunning!  I invested thousands of dollars in this bed.  A craftsman took new Oak wood and fabricated the entire thing prior to staining it.  All the edges were made smooth and tons of hours were spent on it.

The exterior is complimented with a beautiful matching interior that is all new.  The wood trim around the door and rear glass looks rich.  The windshield wiper and directionals work great.  The electrical system is still 6 volt.  I just recently replaced the battery.  The gas tank is located under the seat and easy to get to.
The engine compartment is very detailed and houses a completely rebuilt 6 cylinder.   The engine starts and runs excellent.  It only has 500 miles on it!  It runs on regular fuel and doesnt require any additives.  The undercarriage is also very detailed and spotless as the photos indicate.

This is a very cool truck that will always be an attraction. Get it before someone else does!
