This awesome 1994 Yamaha YZ250 Custom Motocross Motorcycle has been fully restored with many upgraded parts. This 30-year old masterpiece was originally purchased in California where it spent its entire life until it was purchased by MS CLASSIC CARS in May of 2023. The last owner who lives in Santa Clarita, CA purchased it from his next door neighbor who had it parked in a shed for many years. It was a father and son project that spiraled out of control financially. A California off highway title and new Factory Effex Yamaha stand are included. MS CLASSIC CARS has proudly displayed this in the showroom for the last 10 months and March of 2023 is the first time it's been listed for sale.

The vision of this build was to create a one-of-a-kind piece that would stand out in a crowd. The entire bike was disassembled to a bare frame. The original factory purple frame was media-blasted and powder coated in a unique shade of blue. This color would pay tribute to the previous Yamaha YZ250 colors. A set of new IMS Super Stock foot pegs were added.

The 1994 Yamaha YZ250 was equipped from the factory with a 249cc liquid cooled 2-stroke engine with 5-speed manual transmission. The engine was completely disassembled, cleaned, rebuilt and re-sealed. Anything that could be was vapor honed. The crank shaft was serviced and balanced. It was setup with a new rod, piston, rings, bearings, spark plug and air filter. The cylinder was sent to Millennium Technologies and completely gone through. The engine was outfitted with new Boyessen Factory Racing case covers and Moose Racing shifter. The Mikuni Corp carburetor was vapor honed and rebuilt with new internals. The engine is cooled by two new Tusk aluminum radiators that have blue hoses. The engine breathes through a FMF “Gold Series Fatty” pipe and FMF Turbinecore 2 silencer. The pipe does have a few minor imperfections and was touched up. The silencer was disassembled, vapor honed and repacked.

It was outfitted with new Pro Taper SE handlebars, Pro Taper handlebar pad, Pro Taper blue soft grips and ASV collapsible black levers. The front forks were completely rebuilt and reconditioned. The rear shock has all new internals, bladder, seals, bumper and Race Tech blue spring. The entire braking system was gone through including a rebuilt Yamaha master cylinder, Galfer braided lines, Galfer rotors, Nissin calipers, new cables and pads. The OEM wheel hubs were vapor honed with new bearings, new hoops and new spokes. It rolls on Tuck Impact black wheels that are 21x1.60 on the front and 18x2.15 on the rear. The wheels are wrapped with new Dunlop Geomax MX33F tires that are 80-100-21 on the front and 110-100-18 on the rear. It's equipped with a Pro Taper black rear sprocket and Renthal gold chain.

It was dressed with all new UFO plastics including the front number plate, front fender, fork guards, side panels and rear fender. It was decorated with new Factory Effex blue decals throughout. The number 94 is for the model year 1994. The seat has new foam and Enjoy black grip seat cover.
